As of October 2003, the City of Concord became self permitting for water and sewer.  For more information concerning applicable regulations and general requirements for wastewater collection system extensions visit the Forms & Downloads page and/or the Links page.

Revision to the Water Distribution System Application

The City of Concord's local permitting program for water distribution system extensions/modifications has revised the Water Distribution System Application, or WDSA. Please access the Engineering Department's Forms & Downloads page for the current form "Water Distribution System Application, WDSA 09/03."

Water and Wastewater Permit Application Fees

The City of Concord Council has adopted permit application fees. The current fees are listed in the City of Concord's FY11-12 Fees and Charges Schedule and are effective as of July 1, 2011.

Under the authority received from NCDENR to operate a local permitting program for water distribution system extensions or modifications, a $200.00 application fee will be required with each water distribution system permit application, and a $400.00 application fee will be required with each wastewater permit application. Fees may be combined with one check if desired.  Please make the check payable to 'City of Concord'.

Development Services Department
