Beginning July 5, 2011, the City of Concord rolled-out improvements to residential solid waste services. Please visit this page for the latest updates as we implement the new program:
Recycling is now collected every-other-week.
Residents have more recycling options and new black, wheeled carts for easier curbside placement.

New fully automated collection vehicles now pick up your green garbage carts every week.
Residents should call the Customer Care Center at 704.920.5555 to schedule pick up of all items that cannot fit inside the cart, such as bulky waste (furniture, tires, lawn mowers, etc.), appliances (white goods), and e-waste (anything with a circuit board, especially TVs and computers).
Printable materials are available for you to share with friends, family, and neighbors.
