Booker Drive Realignment Project Begining April 2010
Wednesday, April 14, 2010

The City of Concord will be proceeding with the Booker Drive realignment project at the intersection with Salem Street.  The project  involves improvements to the intersection along with adjustments to other infrastructure.

There will be a traffic detour and limited access during the construction period, and efforts will be made to minimize inconveniences to the extent possible. It is anticipated that the construction start date will be April 26, 2010 and the project will take up to 120 days to complete. The contractor is Piedmont Asphalt Paving Co. of Concord.

This project is partially funded with Federal stimulus funds received through Community Development Block Grant program and is designed to improve the safety and functionality of this intersection.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Engineering Construction Inspection Division at 704.920.5404 during regular working hours.
