The City of Concord's Transportation Department works hard to maintain streets, sidewalks, signs, curb & gutter, guardrail, traffic signals, and much more. This keeps the traffic, roadways and pedestrian areas safe for citizens and those passing through.

Our department maintains:

  • 462.39 miles of curb and gutter
  • 343.13 miles of paved street
  • 244.54 miles of sidewalk
  • 4.57 miles of guard rail
  • Over 12,000 signs and street blades
