It is summer and the heat is on! The Concord Recreation and Parks Department has a fantastic cost efficient way to help you keep cool this summer – come use our city pool and play in the water all day!

The McInnis Aquatic Center opened over Memorial Day weekend with some new changes. The front entrance has been renovated with additional security features to keep you safe as you use the pool area. Now each person must be buzzed in to gain access the pool locker rooms and swim area. The front concession area has also been improved for your convenience. This will provide you and your family with a safer environment, as well as, more privacy in the locker rooms.

Our swim lesson program is in full swing. What a great way to offer a safe way to learn to swim and teach your young person the proper swim techniques!

Openings are still available but are filling up quickly. You may register on our website at www.concordparksandrec.org

Saturday June 27th, will be Athletic Appreciation Day at the pool. If you had a child participate in the Concord Parks and Recreation baseball program they will receive free admission to the pool. Everyone else gets into the pool for a dollar!
Grilled hotdogs and hamburgers will also be available along with other concession items. The pool is open Monday - Thursday from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 - 11:00 for adult lap swim, Friday 11:00 - 5:00, Saturday 1:00 - 6:00, and Sunday 1:00 - 5:00. Come to the pool and get out of the Summer Heat!!!
