  • FAQ:  Can I use my personal kayak and canoe at Lake Fisher?  Due to North Carolina water resource regulations, private boats of any type can not be used in Lake Fisher.  Lakes in the state are classified according to their use and based on their classification, various regulations apply.  Although Lake Fisher would be a beautiful place to paddle, its state classification does not allow it.  However, the Carolina Thread Trail is developing access points along the Rocky River in Cabarrus County.  Learn more about the Rocky River Blueway at Two launch points are now available, at the Pharr Family Preserve and Riverbend Farm trails.
