The Charlie Patrol District officers are responsible for patrolling and responding to calls in an area of approximately 20.7 square miles. The district is a mixture of commercial and residential areas and has a residential population of over 27,400 residents.  There are 7 educational institutes within the district and one city park.    

 

Captain Alan Lee is a native of Concord, NC.  He is a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High school and Pfeiffer University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.  Captain Lee began his career in law enforcement in 1996 with Concord Police Department.

Captain Lee received his Advanced Law Enforcement certification and his general instructor certification from the North Carolina Law Enforcement Training and Standards Commission in 2003. 

Captain Lee has served the department in a variety of positions to include patrolman, investigations, traffic safety, and as the alcohol enforcement officer.  Captain Lee was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in October of 2006 where he served in the Professional Standards Division as the recruiting and training supervisor.

In 2010, Lee transferred back to the patrol division and served in David district as a patrol Sergeant until he was promoted the rank of captain.  He has served as a district commander in Adam and Charlie district and also served as the support services commander.

Captain Lee enjoys hunting, fishing, and most any outdoor activity.  Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
