Did you know?
Did you know that celebratory gunfire (the shooting of a firearm into the air in celebration) is illegal? Celebratory gunfire can cause injuries to people and pets, and in some cases is fatal. It also can damage homes, businesses, and other structures. What goes up must come down - a bullet fired into the air comes down somewhere; there is no way to predict where the bullet will land. Concord Police Department warns against celebrating in this manner. Violators will be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The Concord Police Department wishes you a safe and Happy New Year!

Several properties at the site of the former Logan High School along Booker Drive in Concord have received much-needed improvements funded by a combination of City dollars, federal grants, and private investment.
