Seeking additional public input on CDBG and HOME plans for FY19
The Planning and Neighborhood Development Department held a public hearing the evening of March 12 to review community development activities and projects. The hearing provided an opportunity to hear citizen comments and questions about the 2018-2019 Consolidated Annual Action Plan for the use of Community Development Block Grant and HOME grant funds. The final plan will outline proposed goals and activities during the upcoming fiscal year (July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019). The draft document is available for review on, and printed copies are also available for public review now through April 23 at the Planning and Neighborhood Development Office in City Hall (35 Cabarrus Avenue W) and the Concord Branch of the Cabarrus County Public Library (27 Union Street N). All proposed budgets will be proportionally increased or decreased from the estimated funding levels to match actual allocation amounts. All interested persons are invited to provide comments and input for the final Consolidated Annual Action Plan through April 23, 2018 by contacting Pepper Bego in the Planning and Neighborhood Development Department or emailing
