Remembering the heroes of September 11, 2001

The Concord Fire Department invites the public to join a community-wide virtual Patriots Day remembrance ceremony at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, September 11. The memorial service will be available live courtesy of CabCoTV at youtube.com/cabarruscounty or  cabarruscounty.us/cabcotv, and broadcast on Spectrum Cable Channel 22.

Per the schedule established by City Council, the historic Gamewell Diaphone at Fire Station 1 will sound one blast at 8:46 a.m. on Friday, September 11 to honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
