Remembering the heroes of September 11, 2001

The Concord Fire Department invites the public to join a community-wide virtual Patriots Day remembrance ceremony at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, September 11. The memorial service will be available live courtesy of CabCoTV at or, and broadcast on Spectrum Cable Channel 22.

Per the schedule established by City Council, the historic Gamewell Diaphone at Fire Station 1 will sound one blast at 8:46 a.m. on Friday, September 11 to honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
