Welcome to the City of Concord Housing Department


The City of Concord Housing Department has been committed to providing safe, decent and affordable housing to low-income residents in Cabarrus County since 1956. The Housing Department offers affordable rental housing and four (4) public housing sites. The Housing Department administers a number of  programs, such as the Housing Choice Voucher Program, the Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS), and the ROSS Homeownership Program. These programs help to promote more self-sufficiency and economic homeownership opportunities for local residents.

The City of Concord Housing Department will be accepting bids for a full roofing replacement and also shutter contract.  The contract will primarily cover roofing project at the Logan Community Homes, excluding the following addresses:  291 and 293 Salem Street, 328 and 330 Griffin Circle and the Community Building.  Shutters are to be purchased and installed at the front of properties in the Logan and Mary Chapman Community.  Please submit two separate bids, one for the full replacement roofing contract and shutter contract.  You may pick up a vendor packet at the Housing Administration Building located at 283 Harold Goodman Circle starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019.

Open Bid Dates will be from Wednesday, June 19, 2019 thru Tuesday, June 25, 2019.  All bids must be submitted to the front desk at the Housing Administration Office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
